Description

Why buy this home?

This home is in one of the best school catchment areas and is available with no upper chain.

As you step inside the hallway you immediately feel how spacious the home is. It is laid with laminate flooring which flows through to the conservatory. From the hallway you can access the integral garage.

At the front of the house is the kitchen which has plenty of storage, the owners have renovated this room to add a utility area . They have also given the kitchen a modern look with white gloss cupboards, quartz worktops and white porcelain floor tiles. Integrated appliances include dishwasher, washing machine, double oven and microwave. There is also space for a free standing fridge freezer. From here you can access the garden via the side door.

The lounge diner is at the back of the house. There is a natural separation between the living and dining area. The living area is big enough for a three seater and two seater sofa and coffee table or even a corner sofa. The dining area is large enough for an 8 seater table and you have enough space to add a sideboard. Double doors open onto the conservatory which runs the full width of the house and can be used all year round. It has central heating and air conditioning for those hot sunny days. Currently, the room is being used as a snug and dining area. This room is so versatile it can be used as a games room or playroom. There are also double doors leading onto the garden, when opened bringing the outside in. It is a perfect place to entertain friends or relax with the family. To finish off this floor is the all-important W/C and understairs storage.

The garden is on two levels and is made up of shingle on the raised level with sleepers either side and a shrub border. Towards the back of the garden is the patio area, where you can add garden furniture making it a great space to BBQ on those summer evenings and entertain family and friends. There is also a summer house that you can use when you want to chill out and read a book with a glass of something. The garden is not overlooked and is low maintenance, ideal for those that are not into gardening.

Upstairs are four double bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes and laid with laminate flooring. The master bedroom is at the back of the house with a view overlooking Tattenhoe Valley Park. It is big enough to fit a double bed, and bedside tables, chest of drawers and dressing table. There is also an ensuite that has a double shower, vanity unit and is partially tiled with chrome accessories and a heated towel rail. Bedrooms two, three and four are big enough to fit a double bed, bedside tables, and a desk. These rooms are great for children who are want their own space. These bedrooms are serviced by the family bathroom, with a three piece suite, shower over the bath and vanity unit for storage.

Lastly, there is an integral garage and a driveway big enough to park three cars.

More about the location...

Tattenhoe and Tattenhoe Park are adjacent districts of Milton Keynes in the ancient parish of Tattenhoe. It is located at the south-western edge of the city, not far from the ruins of Snelshall Priory. It contains Howe Park Wood, one of England's few remaining primeval woodlands, and home to a wide variety of wildlife.

The village was abandoned in the 16th century and had its own moated manor house and church (1540, perhaps 12th century). By the time redevelopment began, it consisted of just three farms and St. Giles's Church, but was recognised as a village rather than a hamlet.

The village also has the Tattenhoe Sports Pavilion, which is run by InspireAll (formerly Hertsmere Leisure) in partnership with the Milton Keynes Council. They offer the temporary home of Westcroft Library, as well as a lounge area next to the cafe and bar on site. The pavilion also has legacy playing fields, an astro turf available for hire, a meeting room available for hire and free parking on site.

Tattenhoe Valley Park is a delightful place for a walk, cycle or horse ride, with plenty of wildlife to enjoy in the necklace of ponds splashing over rocks and providing a fantastic habitat for insect, bird and water life.

Primary education is provided by Howe Park School (which has an Outstanding Ofsted report) and Secondary Education is provided by Shenley Brook End School.
