Everyone’s first impression from walking into the hall is ‘Wow! there is so much space’. For us there is a room for everything, from the kitchen and family room, which, for so long has been the hub of the family, bringing us together for food and TV watching, to the retreats of the ‘gym’ or living room which has a lovely log burner, great for those long winter evenings or somewhere to crash after over indulging on that Christmas dinner. The ‘space’ continues upstairs with all rooms comfortably accommodating double beds and wardrobe space and a large landing, which has been used to great effect with Lego or Sylvanian families.

Though not avid gardeners, we have taken full advantage of the garden, it is a simple pleasure just to ride the sit on mower to cut the grass and prepare the ‘pitch’ for a kickabout or a competitive family game of rounders! With the garden wrapping round the entire house, it gets the sun all day long, making it great for summer gatherings, whether simply Pimms with friends, or, inviting everyone around for pizza or BBQ.

Writing this we are almost talking ourselves out of selling, but this house is ready for it’s next chapter and as empty nesters we are ready to follow our family and focus our energies somewhere new."
