LET AGREED

Broadwoodwidger, Lifton

Description

If You’re Researching Where To Put Down Roots, This Short Term Let Means You Can Do It In Style. If you’re just moving to the area and finding your feet this superb barn conversion could be the perfect base until you work out your long term plans.

It would be very easy to fall in love with this fabulous three bedroom barn conversion. But before you start dreaming of growing old here we need to put the brakes on! It’s only going to be available to rent for around 12 months, so it will be more suited to people looking for a stopgap whilst they research the area or build their own home.

Now your expectations are thoroughly managed, let's continue…

It was recently converted by a renowned local builder who takes pride in doing things well. He also converted the other two neighbouring barns.

It’s all very smart, modern and stylish but the best bit has got to be the open plan living area and kitchen.

The kitchen is gorgeous, with bold grey fitted units and contrasting worktops. It’s a couple of steps down to the living area which has French doors to the garden and a lovely log burner.

There’s a w/c off the hall and a double bedroom with an ensuite shower room on the ground floor.

Upstairs has two more double bedrooms and a tastefully luxurious four piece family bathroom.

If you’re not going to be here for the long term you won’t want to put your heart and soul into the garden. It’s a low maintenance garden with space to sit out and enjoy the sun, a manageable lawn and a couple of raised beds.

You’ll need a car so there’s plenty of parking on the drive.

Broadwoodwidger is a small, friendly village that’s only 2 minutes drive from the A30, meaning you can be in Lifton in under 10 minutes and Launceston in less than fifteen.

You may as well throw yourself into the local community whilst you’re here. There are lots of local village events (the village green is just over the road) and the church is a busy focal point too.

If you’re a fit and active family you’ll also love being close to Roadford Lake. It’s less than a 5 minute drive to the Activity Centre on the shore of the reservoir, with plenty of activities for all ages and fitness levels. And it’s just as close to the café!

Sadly there’s no pub in the village, you’ll need to head up to The Clovelly Inn at Bratton Clovelly or the Arundel Arms in Lifton - both are around 10 minutes drive away.

Young children will go to Lifton Community Primary School and older kids will head to Launceston College - both are rated “Good” by Ofsted.

If you’re looking for a stylish stopgap this semi-rural barn conversion could be perfect. Just don’t ask if you can stay here long term!!

If this could be the short term solution you’re looking for, contact us now to arrange a viewing.
