Description

"It has been a joy living in the heart of Easton. We bought the house seven years ago, our first home together. It had been a very loved house and we were attracted to its original and generous features. It had new double glazed sash windows, a bespoke (although slightly dated) kitchen and wooden floors throughout. It still had its bay window, fireplace, along with original cornicing and front door. We also loved that external sandstone detailing had not been painted over and the quirkiness of the pink bathroom suite. We have spent our time getting to know its quirks, slowly restoring, repairing and now raising a young family. During lockdown we focused on the garden, creating a safe haven to share with friends and family. It is a great space to enjoy on sunny days and host impromptu pizza parties. We hope whoever lives here next finds as much happiness as we have."

Woodborough Street is positioned centrally in Easton and is largely made up of bay-fronted Victorian homes. Easton is a popular pocket of Bristol, being so close to the city centre and easily accessible by foot, bike, road and train. The Bristol to Bath Cycle Path is a particularly pleasant route for those travelling into the centre, whilst Stapleton Road Train Station is also conveniently located to Woodborough Street. At the same time, its proximity to both the M32 and the A431 to Bath make it an ideal spot for many. Easton is by no means, however, a dormitory neighbourhood and offers an abundance of community areas, events and activities and Woodborough Street is central in this hugely popular area. Nearby, St Marks Road boasts a number of Bristol's finest independent shops and restaurants, such as Bristol Sweet Mart and the Thali Cafe. No.12 Café and the recently opened micro coffee roastery and café Radical Roasters. The nearest primary school, Bannerman Road Community Academy is rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with other nearby schools such as Whitehall and May Park also very well-regarded locally, further enhancing the appeal of the area to families.

A charming two bedroom period mid terrace situated on Woodborough Street in Easton. On entry, you are welcomed into the home with a porch and stripped floorboards continuing throughout. The lounge has been tastefully decorated including a bay window with timber framed double-glazed sash windows, built-in storage cupboards and a log burner. The dining room offers a spacious setting to accommodate a young family or entertaining with French doors opening out to the garden. Located to the rear is the fitted kitchen with dual aspect windows facing the garden including terracotta tiled flooring, a combination of wall and base units and a concrete worktops. Outside, the beautifully landscaped garden enjoys a wealth of colour during the summer months from the raised beds and mature plants with the added feature of the pizza oven. The first floor accommodates two spacious double bedrooms and a retro four-piece suite and a large fitted storage cupboard.
