At 800 feet above sea level you will enjoy the cool trade wind that blows all year round and the  stunning 180-degree view of the Atlantic Ocean with neighboring Caribbean islands framed in the background. The quaint country lane leading to the villa is lined with charming West Indian homes and ends shortly above Whimsea guaranteeing quietness and privacy. Access to all the island attractions and necessities is no further than a 20 minute drive.

The casual and relax island vibes carry throughout the house with a floor plan inviting relaxation and enjoyment of the surroundings. A large open plan kitchen and living/dining area extends to the covered patio through folding doors, seamlessly blending the indoor and outdoor spaces. 

All the bedrooms are furnished with handcrafted mahogany beds and large armoires and both master bedrooms have walk in closets. The bathrooms are individually decorated with different mosaic tiles. The master bathrooms have extra large showers and louvered doors opening to the green foliage of palms.

INTERIOR:

Great Room: Airy and bright, the cathedral ceiling with pickled beams adds to the feeling of space while the eyes are drawn to the beautiful sea view visible through the large folding doors.

The corner kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of counter space and a large breakfast bar. The adjacent pantry provides ample shelving for storage.

At the opposite side is the dining area for whenever the weather doesn’t permit outdoor dining. A powder room completes the layout.

The center of the room is occupied by handmade Nevisian mahogany couch and chairs, ideal for enjoying the stunning views.

On each side of the great room is an ensuite bedroom with double louvered French doors opening to its own veranda space. 

Both ends of the veranda have a wooden staircase leading to the other two guest bedrooms. Similarly appointed with twin beds, mosquito netting, armoire and air condition, they have their individual patio area with loungers and chairs for some private time.

The four bathrooms are beautifully appointed and much larger than usually found.

EXTERIOR:

Life in the Caribbean implies enjoying the outdoor and the surrounding beauty; the covered porch on the same level as the pool and pool deck provide additional sitting and dining areas. Perfect to see the rising sun, sip a cocktail in the early evening and star gaze at night after an al fresco diner.

The pool has an infinity edge and is ideal for a cooling dip after a trip to the beach. The deck is a great observatory for the troops of Vervet monkeys feasting on mangoes and other tropical delicacies to be found in the garden.

Planted with many fruit and palm trees, the grassy yard is fenced and attracts the colorful hummingbirds who flit in and out of the flowering bushes. With its different shades of green and splashes of colors, the garden is the perfect background to the villa not to forget the majestic peak rising to the north.
