Monarch Drive was our perfect starter home, We were both first time buyers and we wanted somewhere that had a welcoming community and we also didn’t want the hustle and bustle of looking out over lots of buildings. With Monarch Drive we were soon able to see what a beautiful quiet location the flat was in. We have enjoyed the years we have had here, watching the wildlife out the back from our windows with a cup of tea in the morning, being walking distance from a great pub and there are so many walks to go on that are only a stones throw away. We quite often walk down to the Shinfield Studios and take a public footpath through farmland to find the cows! It was also important to us that we could easily get to a train station as we both liked going out on day trips to London. With Reading, Wokingham and Winnersh station not too far and then last year with the added Green-Park station it was made so much more accessible! It also helps that the M4 is near to jump on when going on trips. We have made some wonderful friends from our neighbours, whom are there to help you at any time if needed.

The Flat has been a great size for us to start our family, plenty of room for all the toys that we soon acquired. But as we now want to expand our family further it is time to make our move. We have made some wonderful memories here, we will be sad to see the flat go.

But, the highlight of this home, the living room. Wow, dual aspect, again overlooking the greenery, with so much space and great detailing added by the sellers. This is perfect in so many ways.

You are just a short walk from the popular Shinfield Arms pub, great for a Sunday roast or to enjoy their fantastic beer garden. You have plenty of schools in the area, amenities in the village including, Co-Op and a post office and an abundance of green space on your doorstep with some fantastic areas for walks, not to mention the new, recently opened Crumbs Cafe. From here you also have easy access into Reading and Wokingham towns, including via bus links, you are a short drive to the new railway link within Green Park Business Park and only a few minutes from junction 11 of the M4.
