Roque del Conde is a very exclusive and quiet area and belongs to Costa Adeje lies in a dominant position above Las Americas / Torviscas Alto
Torviscas is close to Puerto Colón and Playa de Las Américas and is split by the motorway, so you have Torviscas alto and Torviscas bajo.
Alto, means high and so the upper part of the town is above the motorway and has many holiday complexes and residential homes and complexes, so a reasonable mixture.
Bajo means low�and you've guessed it, it's below the motorway. This area is a mixture of residential and touristic complexes as well, but is more geared to tourism with its bars, shops and restaurants and of course the beaches.
Just a short walk from the centre of Torviscas is Puerto Colón where the day cruises and fishing trips start their journey and there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose form there too.
Right on the doorstep, you've got Playa Torviscas and within a short pleasant walk, you'll also find the popular beaches of Playas El Bobo and La Pinta and going to other way you'll come across Playa Fañabé.
