The Pipers Inn is located on the south eastern fringes of the village of Ashcott beside the A39 which connects the M5 motorway (Junction 23) to the nearby towns of Street and Glastonbury. The Pipers Inn is close to the junction with the A361 which leads to the county town of Taunton. The towns of Bridgwater and Wells are both approximately 10 miles distant with junction 23 of the M5 approximately 7 miles. Ashcott is also close to the RSPB nature reserve on the Somerset Levels.

The Pipers Inn is a Grade II listed building believed in part to date from 1723. The building has the look of two adjoining properties, the main section being of local stone and the other having rendered elevations.
