Beautiful Villa with spectacular views of the Chianti countryside and San Gimignano. The Villa is located in a residential area but boasts absolute privacy and tranquillity. It is equipped with all the necessary comforts. The Villa is accessed through two pedestrian gates and a driveway gate that gives access to the large paved courtyard and garage. The garden is truly beautiful, with attention to every detail. The large swimming pool also has a whirlpool. The technical rooms are accessed by an underground ramp. Marcialla is a hamlet of the municipalities of Certaldo and Barberino Tavarnelle, located on a hill that acts as a watershed between the Val d'Elsa and the Val di Pesa. The hamlet historically always maintained a considerable strategic importance, precisely because it allowed controlling the two valleys. Marcialla is mentioned in a map of the Val d'Elsa made by Leonardo da Vinci and now preserved in the Royal Library of Windsor. Marcialla also boasts places of interest and religious buildings such as The Church of San Lorenzo in Vigliano, the Church of Santa Maria, the Palazzo Bargagli Stoffi and the Villa Capponi. The local community is very united in fact, during the summer season, they organize many village festivals in the main square.
