Situated adjoining Ashdown Forest, in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Originally a deer hunting forest in Norman times, it is now the largest free public access space in the South East. It is a great place for walking and riding and is known the world over as the ‘home’ of Winnie-the-Pooh. Colemans Hatch has an popular country pub and local amenities are available in either Forest Row or the historic village of Hartfield. For an extensive range of shopping, educational and transport facilities there are the towns of East Grinstead and Tunbridge Wells.
