We’ve lived at Flat E for 6 years this month and have loved every second of our time here. We fell in love with the character of the flat and the original features like the beautiful sash windows and architraves. We’ve put a lot of love into decorating over the years, including having all of the doors and frames striped back to show off their original detail. Everyone we have over to stay always comments on how cosy it is and we feel lucky to be this close to Streatham and all it offers, while being tucked away into a quiet corner of the neighbourhood. We’ll miss being so close to the station too!

The community here is something we have really valued. ‘The Mansions’ are full of wonderful neighbours, some who have been here 30+ years and are always happy to lend a hand when needed. The garden is so well looked after, complete with vegetable patch and brick pizza oven! Quite a rare find in South London.

We’ve made some special memories here, including getting engaged in the flat and hosting many pizza parties in the garden with friends and family! We hope whoever is lucky enough to move into Melrose, enjoys calling it home as much as we have
