Description

Park Pool has been a much loved home for over forty years and has been significantly extended by the current owners to provide an extremely spacious family home. Sat on a charming plot with views of St Lawrence Church and Chew Valley Lake, the house is set back from the road and we approach via a large front garden. Inside, the vast entrance hall has been opened into a large open space from which we can access the elegant lounge, with a feature fireplace incorporating a gas fire and windows on three sides. This is a wonderfully relaxing space which leads directly into the dining room. From here we lead back into the entrance hall and into the fully fitted kitchen with a peninsula island dining table. This room is served by a large walk-in larder and a picture window overlooking the side of the property.  From here we enter a further small hallway serving a downstairs cloakroom and separate utility room and an exterior door to the rear of the property. Opposite is the third reception room which is a lovely snug with a door into the impressive conservatory with double doors which open onto the beautiful well matured garden.

The ground floor has the first of two double bedrooms, one with a large built in wardrobe and the other which is currently used as a study, both being serviced by a bathroom with separate WC. The central staircase leads up to the remaining bedrooms on the first floor. Each have an ensuite and both have built in wardrobes.  One has access to a significant amount of eaves storage which is easily accessible. In addition there is a large storage cupboard  which can be accessed from one of the bathrooms.

Outside, there is a large single garage with further parking available. The garage has an electric door with a courtesy door leading into the garden. The impressive garden really does steal the show with immaculate borders and a meandering lawn which leads to two different seating areas including a charming nook which offers views across the countryside towards Chew Valley Lake and with fields behind leading down to Harptree Coombe. A large paved area sits in front of the conservatory and is the perfect spot for dining alfresco with easy access into the house. This house has plenty to offer yet there is still a huge amount of potential for further modernisation.
