Entering the house through the main access one is immediately surrounded by the traditional atmosphere of this more than 100 years old house. Wooden stairs lead up to the main floor, while on the left sturdy beams act as ceiling for what once was storage room and now are the cool living quarters.
On this ground floor a roomy living/dining area lead towards the kitchen and a bathroom with bad.
Next to the hallway a small bedroom is positioned half under the stairs, showing their impressive wooden structure.

On the first floor the once main living-room has two bedrooms adjoining - the master (corner) bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Abundant windows let in plenty of light.
Opposite the stairs there is large but window-less room that could be used for storage.

Though the thick stone walls keeps it cool in summer and warm in winter, the house has central heating plus air-conditioning.

The kitchen exits towards a small alley. Right opposite some steps lead to a quite charming garden area with several fruit trees and a full view on the Panayia church.
Following the alley towards the end a gated path leads to a plain guest-studio with for now a shower room and a kitchen sink installed.

The house could very well function as a family home with character, located only 5 minutes by foot from the main square and the village cafe but also close to the small country roads surrounding Skripero.

Skripero is a lively village with a taverna, small supermarket and a school a.o. plus regular bus-transport going into town or to the north of Corfu.
