The village of Cold Aston is an attractive and sought after community located in the heart of the famous Cotswold Hills. It is positioned in a rural aspect between three major trunk routes, the A438, the A429 and the A40 just a few miles from the famed tourist town of Bourton on the Water with Stow on the Wold a few miles further to the north. Cheltenham is within easy motoring distance as are the West Oxfordshire towns of Burford and Witney.

The Plough is a centuries old property of very attractive appearance being constructed of Cotswold stone. It is located in the very heart of the village with Cold Aston having a small village square/green area which the Plough overlooks. It was acquired by the current freehold owners in 2012 having formerly been owned by a Pub Company. It was subsequently completely refurbished the quality and size of the investment undertaken will be clearly evident to all who view. Open Plan Trading Areas arranged either side of a Central Bar Servery which has tongue and grooved panelled frontage and display back fitting. There is a set of LADIES, GENTLEMEN'S and DISABLED TOILETS. Alongside the bar is a RECEPTION/STANDING AREA particularly popular with the locals and the room opens out into the RESTAURANT SECTION which is in two areas having a second Dining Area which has a conservatory feel with glazed patio door access onto the trade garden and feature roof lantern. Four en suite Letting Bedrooms, one of which is currently used for staff purposes. The rooms are individually named and arranged as follows:
"NOTGROVE", a double size room with vaulted beamed ceiling and en suite BATHROOM with suite of wash hand basin, WC and bath with shower over.

"AYLWORTH", a twin room, again with vaulted beamed ceiling and en suite BATHROOM with suite of wash hand basin, WC and bath with shower over.

"TURKDEAN", a double size room with exposed stone walls, beamed ceiling and en suite SHOWER ROOM with suite of wash hand basin, WC and shower.

"ASTON", which is the larger suite which is currently arranged as a family room with twin beds and sofa bed, and en suite BATHROOM with suite of wash hand basin, WC, freestanding bath and separate shower. Currently used for staff accommodation.

Each room has a full bedroom suite and a Tassimo filter coffee machine.

EXTERNAL
There is a PATIO AREA adjacent to the main entrance of the pub and PATIO ACCESS from the restaurant area. These areas are flagged with Cotswold stone and enclosed by a Cotswold stone wall. They are on split levels and provide seating with Lloyd Loom style external garden chairs and tables currently arranged for 24 or so customers, but could seat more. There is a further DECKED AREA with seating for a further 12 or so. To the rear on what had formerly been an enclosed gravelled car parking area a permanent awning/marquee has been erected with seating for circa 50 customers in a covered and sheltered area.
