The residence is old and stone-built. It has been completely restored in 2006 while later several further improvements have been made. The last one was in 2021, when all the doors and the windows were replaced. The house is located in a traditional alley and is corner, with openings on three sides that let in plenty of light. On the southwest side of the building we find a courtyard and a large balcony, from where the views are impressive towards the White Mountains.

The plot is fenced and ideal if you want to keep your pets there. The main entrance is on the ground floor while the upper floor is accessible either from the interior or from a staircase that leads directly to the balcony. The ground floor includes a large open-plan living and dining area, a separate kitchen, a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a WC for the guests. In the living space there is a large stove-fireplace and a ceiling fan while the kitchen is separated by a beautiful stone arch and is functional with many cupboards.

The area has several shops and services. Within a short walking distance you will find restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, pharmacy, medical center, bank and more. The area is an ideal starting point, if you want to visit many of the beautiful villages in the area. In the small ports of Kalyves and Georgioupolis, which are about 15 minutes' drive from the property, you will find many shops and services, excellent sandy beaches and many restaurants along the coast. The city of Chania and the airport are about 30 and 40 minutes' drive, respectively.
