Restaurants and wine bars with increasingly sophisticated menus and wine lists offer the opportunity to appreciate food and wine traditions of this corner of Tuscany, often enriched by visits to the historic cellars of Vino Nobile and Brunello di Montalcino. Wellness lovers can satisfy their needs at the Terme di Bagno Vignoni, with the characteristic Roman tub in the centre of the town, and in the thermal pools of Chianciano. These areas can be easily reached both from the north and from the south, the airports of Rome and Florence are about 2 hours by car, the A1 highway is about 20 km away. The nearest train station, about 25 minutes by car, is in Chiusi, with local or fast trains to all the most important Italian destinations.
