The property is in a picturesque village of Apokoronas with few and hospitable residents. It is surrounded by olive groves and dense cypress forests. It is a large building that has been configured in two adjacent but completely independent residences, which share only one large yard, parking spaces and garden.

The plot is fenced and ideal if you want to keep your pets there. It is also sufficient if you want to divide the outdoor space into two separate sections, one for each residence. The building regulations of the village allow you to extend the existing building up to 240 m² for main residential use, which in fact allows you to add an extra comfortable bedroom. The building is situated on the western edge of the plot and therefore the largest part of its area is free and can be used as you wish. The property has roads on all sides and the area has a northern slope with panoramic views to the north.

The two residences have been renovated at different times and with different character. One has a completely traditional style while the second one is a little more modern. The northern residence is arranged over two levels with separate entrances to each. An external staircase leads upstairs to the kitchen area. At the back we find the bathroom of the house, which needs improvements as well as one of the two bedrooms. A wooden staircase leads downstairs to a two-roomed living area. The two spaces are separated by a stone arch, with two impressive millstones at its base. At the back we find the second bedroom, which occupies the quietest part of the building.

The southern residence was only renovated in 2022. It is on an upper floor but internally follows the traditional layout with lofts and stairs that create several interesting levels. There are two entrances in the kitchen or the living space, which are situated in different rooms that are L-shaped. The living space occupies a large, high-ceilinged open-plan space, with lofts at the back, where there are two bedrooms and an office space. The bathroom of the residence is modern and has a shower.

Within up to 10 minutes' drive are the small town of Vamos and the seaside Georgioupolis, where you will find all kinds of shops and services you need for your daily living. Among other things, in Vamos there is a public medical center while in Georgioupolis you will find a long sandy beach and areas with facilities or quieter places. The city and airport of Chania are approximately 40 and 50 minutes' drive, respectively. The picturesque city of Rethymnon is also about 30 minutes' drive.
