Description

An immaculate lodge nestled within wonderful surroundings with access to an 18-hole golf course and acres of woodland walks. We are delighted to welcome to the market this stunning Atlas 2018 38x12ft 2 bedroom 2 bathroom lodge situated in the beautifully located Percy Wood Country Park in the village of Swarland. The property benefits from a private parking space, a gated composite decked area to two sides, uPVC windows and doors, metered gas central heating, mains electricity, water and drainage and mobile broadband enabled via TP-Link hardware. This beautiful lodge offers light and bright living and is your ultimate escape to the country.

The lodge’s front door opens into the spacious open plan main living area. There are two grey wood-effect cupboards as you enter, one of which houses the gas boiler and the other a useful cloaks area. The chrome switches and sockets, with USB points, finish the area and add a further touch of class.

The kitchen is light, bright and incredibly stylish offering plenty of wall and base units with a white high-gloss door complemented by attractive white brick-style splashback tiling and vinyl flooring. There is a good amount of workable bench space with matching upstand, an electric under-bench oven beneath a chimney-style extractor fan, a four burner gas hob, a black single bowl sink, a fully integrated fridge freezer, an attractively illuminated wine cooler, an integrated microwave and a fully integrated full size dishwasher, the space of which could be changed to house a washing machine if you so wished. The dining table and chairs work in harmony with the decor of the kitchen and living area, and are set before a window which is a further place for you sit and enjoy views of the wildlife and pleasant greenery.

The main living space is impressive with an almost fully glass gable end, a vaulted ceiling with spotlights and a particularly striking black and copper light fitting above the dining area. The woodland view captured through the French doors, with windows to either side and opening onto the decking, is very pleasing, and it is not uncommon to be able to watch deer and badgers wandering past and red and grey squirrels nimbly leaping through the branches. Furnishing the living space is a corner L-shaped sofa, which converts into a double bed, and an aubergine-coloured comfortable chair, the colours of which work in perfect harmony with the kitchen-diner decor, whilst the fire, with mood lighting to either side, creates a simply stunning look.

The primary bedroom, with a vaulted ceiling and window overlooking the side, is incredibly spacious and tastefully decorated. The silver-grey carpet is beautifully soft underfoot and adds a wonderful element of comfort. The double bed is set beneath unobtrusive top lockers. There is a vanity unit with two drawers, a fitted mirror, and a matching stool, as well as two large wardrobes with a white gloss doors offering superb storage. The ensuite comprises a close-coupled toilet with a push button, a pedestal wash hand basin beneath a fitted mirror, and a window, with fitted blind, overlooking the side.

Bedroom 2 is a twin room with top lockers, a wardrobe, a shelf, and a fitted mirror. Both bedrooms have chrome USB wall sockets and aerial and power sockets to facilitate a wall mounted television. The semi-vaulted ceiling is an attractive feature, and a window to the side allows for natural light.

The main shower room comprises a shower, a pedestal wash hand basin, a close-coupled toilet with a push button, an extractor fan and a mirrored cabinet. A window to the side allows for natural light and the space is finished with vinyl flooring matching that of the kitchen.
