Description

Ok so we love Langborough Road; the homes here are varied but the terrace and end terrace markets are huge and popular, and we have a stunner …. but it wasn’t always this way.

We sold this home to the current owner a year ago and he has treated it as a labour of love and brought it back to its best, and then some!

Externally I think you’ll agree that it’s a real looker and this is something that always makes such a difference; you want to pull up and be proud that it’s yours, and you get that feel here. Parking front and back is another massive selling point, and rare, but you have it here.

Internally everything is fresh, clean, sharp with some classy touches. The front reception space is beautiful with the bay window and fireplace giving a real sense of feature and character, the shutters are a lovely touch and finish things off so well.

May sound strange to say but the panelling and stairs are a particular favourite, the way they tie everything in is class, the central runner on the painted stairs is a nod to the period but done in quite a contemporary way I feel.

Walking beyond here to the open plan reception space you have large French doors taking you to the landscaped gardens, but they also allow the light to flood in. Glancing then to the open stairs you note the clever fitted storage that creates its own piece of furniture, so simple yet ingenious.

The galley kitchen is fitted in white units with some contrasting grey open shelving that adds a contemporary touch by colour. Integrated appliances and butler sink again combine modern and period.

Moving up the stunning staircase you arrive upstairs with three bedrooms and family bathroom to see. The main bedroom has the two shuttered windows which make such a feature, it feels like a very grown-up space. Bedrooms two and three then offer some flexibility, bedroom three could easily be a study area or dressing room if you have the need, or just keep things conventional.

The bathroom we also love ! A great look with a clever pocket door eliminating the common issue of eating into floor space. The tub, sink and WC are truly modern with beautiful tiling to the walls and flooring, and the gold fitments lift it to another level!

Now to outside and we have a fully enclosed and fenced rear garden with a large patio area giving that space to chill or entertain; the raised sleeper bed cleverly gives a feature but keeps things neat and tidy with a central lawn which gives the ‘green’ we would all want.
The garden was so large that the owner has pinched a bit to give the screened extra parking beyond which you will find through the personal gate.

All in all a lovely creation that we feel you would be lucky to have, so come and take a look.
