Villa Serenella is within the Euganean Hills Regional Park, in the province of Padua, nestled on the foothill of Monte Merlo Hill.

The original nucleus of the Villa dates from the late 17th century, but it was in the early decades of the 19th century that the complex was expanded, under the ownership of the famous musician and opera singer Gaspare Pacchiarotti.
In its report on the property, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage called Villa Serenella "a rare, perhaps unique, example of eclecticism with a marked neo-Gothic flavor in the geographical area."

The side wings of the building end in crenellated towers with motifs peculiar to castles and fortifications.
The villa is entered through a slope marked by statues, columns, Gothic arches and balustrades.
The interior repeats the regular tripartition with a median passing hall serving the sequence of side rooms.
The central villa is spread over 5 floors of which the first three are about 250 square meters each while the other two are of exiguous sizes (20sqm approx.)

The property requires total renovation to restore it to its former glory but the supporting structure of the property is solid and in good condition.
The utility connections (Water - electricity - heating system) are all regularly working

The villa is set in a large romantic English-style park embellished by two towers separate from the villa, one of which is used as a columbarium. Both are fully served by general services, but in need of renovation.
