Description

A large contemporary two-bedroom second floor apartment with a sun drenched balcony, communal gardens, secure parking, ample storage and close proximity to Burgess Park.

This modern property (833 sq ft / 77 sq m) features a spacious and bright living area, tastefully designed with high quality finishes and stylish décor. The open concept layout connects the living room, dining area, and kitchen, creating a seamless flow ideal for entertaining guests or enjoying peaceful evenings at home.

The apartment boasts two generously sized bedrooms, providing ample space for relaxation and privacy. Both bedrooms are flooded with natural light, one comes with an ensuite, whilst the other has a large bathroom across the hall.

One of the standout features of this apartment is the private south-west facing balcony, accessible from the living area. The balcony, which easily fits a six-seater table and has park views, receives plenty of sunshine from late morning to sunset and is a quiet and sheltered spot for entertaining.

Other stand out features include a communal courtyard, larger than average storage area and large built in wardrobes in the master bedroom. The property also includes a much sought after parking space, ensuring that you have a designated space for your vehicle or a source of rental income. Secure bike parking is also available.

The property offers incredible convenience in sought after SE5 at the start of Zone 2. Situated in an attractive development right next to beautiful Burgess Park, there are cafes, tennis courts, nurseries and a fantastic woodland playground just two minutes walk away. The location also offers a diverse range of dining and leisure options in nearby Camberwell, Peckham, Brixton and Elephant & Castle.

The development, completed in late 2015, is populated mostly by couples, young families and groups of friends. Most flats are owner occupied, but there is a strong demand within the building for rental accomodation.

With its modern design, desirable location, balcony, and parking facilities, this two bedroom apartment in Ayres Court presents a wonderful opportunity to embrace the vibrant lifestyle of London while enjoying the comforts of a well-appointed home.

Comment from the owner:

We absolutely love living in this flat – it’s airy, bright, spacious and convenient. Having the greenspace of Burgess Park on our doorstep is brilliant, be it for meeting up with friends or heading out for a jog.

The commute to work is so convenient. You can cycle to Central London in 20-30 mins and you rarely wait more than a minute for a bus on Walworth road. Our development has a great community feel, with active WhatsApp groups, regular meet-ups and neighbours that look out for each other.

After eight great years, we will be sad to leave the flat and Camberwell in general, but we have decided to move closer to family outside of London. We will miss those sunny Saturday morning coffees at Clubhouse Cafe overlooking historical Addington Square and the cheeky Sunday feeds at Camberwell's famous Falafel & Shawarma.

We hope the new owners enjoy living here as much as we have!
