From Exeter take the A38 towards Plymouth for 7 miles and take the exit signposted Chudleigh Knighton. Drive through Chudleigh Knighton, turn right on the left-hand bend heading towards Bovey Tracey. Stay on this road, go past Chudleigh Knighton Primary School and take the first right signed posted Hennock and the reservoirs of Kennick and Tottiford. Continue
up the up the hill until you come to an area where five lanes meet (Five Lanes). In front will be a bench, a Dartmoor National Park sign and a sign for Hennock, the drive to Bottor Cottage will be immediately in front of you.
