Description

Who is it for? A friendly complex built in 2015 and just 82 apartments, Kingswood is for owners aged 55 or older who appreciate a pleasant living environment. Owners can be perfectly healthy but if needed there is low level care available to encourage independent living for as long as possible.

The scheme is "full evacuation" which means if there is a fire, the lifts will be out of operation, so you must be able to walk down the stairs independently. If this sounds like you then we can't recommend a viewing highly enough.
 

Kingswood and number 77 This has to be one of the best complexes for the over 55's in and around Chester. The setting is unique - gardens and a field to the front and landscaped gardens to both sides and behind! There is also a growing area where many residents have made friends growing vegetables that they share with all.

The communal facilities could rival any and could rightly be described as modern, stylish and contemporary. You will find a reception area, the bistro, a meeting room, a spacious lounge, craft room and scooter store. The function room and communal toilets are just past the bistro to your left when you enter the building and like all the communal areas, they are immaculately kept! In addition there is a laundry room with 4 Miele washer dryers and they are included.

You can take the stairs or lift to the 1st floor where you will find a particularly well stocked library that overlooks the reception area. Number 77 is found on the second floor along a carpeted and naturally bright hallway.

The apartment starts with a spacious entrance hall with timber doors that open to all rooms including the spacious Jack and Jill shower room and the two large storage cupboards. There are fire and smoke alarms and a phone entry system to welcome your guests.

The living room is where this design of apartment really shines! It appears to be a little smaller than a two bed with much more space given to the living room which is where you will be spending a lot of your time. There is plenty of space here for your suite and there is a real sense of space. This design includes a recessed sitting area with impressive views over the grounds and neighbourhood! It is a pleasant space to relax and enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of your apartment all year round.

The kitchen is part of the living room and has been fitted with a range of timber effect units. The appliances include a fan assisted oven and a 4 ring electric/halogen hob. The master bedroom opens into the spacious aforementioned Jack and Jill wet room that has a chrome thermostatic shower that has been set in the tiling. There is also a wash basin and WC.

The shops are a 5 Minute walk which includes a pharmacist, dentist, deli, take away food, hairdressers, barbers and general store. The Greenway track is close by and there is a good bus service from the stops that are also a 5 minute walk from home.
