We're not sure of her previous history, however this particular lighter has been a permanent home for at least the last 30 years, occupying a Crown Estate Commissioners mooring with a Houseboat Mooring Licence. This area of the creek is a small houseboat community, tidal berths with amazing views up and down. Beautiful and tranquil but close to amenities and mainland ferry links so she'd suit weekend commuters as easily as full time dwellers. An amazing location to work from too.
At present she is laid out with living accommodation on the main deck, an upper and lower saloon, dining area, galley and bathroom. The lower deck is fairly open plan at the moment but could easily be partitioned into cabins if required. Still onboard there are outside decks forward and aft (east and west facing) and up again, a fantastic wheelhouse area with panoramic windows looking over your garden and jetty below.
Hopefully the photos and videos give you a good idea but I do recommend viewing to fully appreciate what is on offer here. Often liveaboard life means restricted space or if the boat comes with land you are usually a long way from anywhere. To me this really is the best of all worlds!
