There is a local-access-only walk in an ancient woodland that runs along the Wray Valley that can be accessed directly from the property. The Lustleigh to Moretonhampstead cycle trail can be joined directly over the road.

Lustleigh and Moretonhampstead offer a range of country pubs, shops, and local cafes, including the popular cycle cafes of Moretonhampstead which is the end of the Wray Valley Trail.
