Upper Bucklebury has a post office store and pub, and bordering Chapel Row has a doctor’s surgery, pub and cafe. There is a good network of footpaths and bridleways and there are cross country walks to pubs at both Stanford Dingley and Frilsham.
There are a wide range of schools in the area, including Elstree, St Andrew’s, Brockhurst & Marlston House, Cheam, Bucklebury Primary School, Bradfield College, Downe House and Pangbourne College.
