Entering the hallway (3m2) of the 16th century farmhouse, to the left is the living room (37m2) with woodburning stove and window to the courtyard. Continuing through the fitted kitchen (43m2) which has underfloor heating has a door to the courtyard, a utility area and separate WC. A wooden staircase leads to a double height bedroom (44m2) and ensuite bathroom with separate shower (13m2). The old market town of Loudun is less than 10 minutes away and has all the amenities you need as well as regular open markets. It is set in the Loire/Vienne triangle of Chinon, Saumur and Fontevraud. The property is perfect for discovering the renaissance chateaux, wine tasting vineyards and beautiful towns and villages of the Val de Loire region. RyanAir have regular flights to the UK from Poitiers and Tours airports, both within an hour of the property. Close to the A10 and A85 motorways, Loudun is approximately 3 and a half hours driving time to the ferry port at Caen Ouistreham.
