Melini

Melini is a small mountainous village located in the Larnaca district of Cyprus. The beautiful village is found between Ora and Eptagonia and you can drive there either from Limassol or Larnaca. The route from Limassol is very beautiful and relaxing, passing through the villages of Parekklisia, Kellaki and Eptagonia. To the north of the settlement and next to a small park, the visitors will see Panagia Eleousa (Virgin Mary the Merciful), a stone-built church with a wooden roof and tiles which is offered for religious ceremonies. Τhe visitors can walk through the narrow and steep alleys of the village, admiring the traditional architecture of the houses and their colourful gardens. The permanent residents of Melini do not exceed 70 people.
