The Tipsy Kat is a cocktail bar that offers a unique experience to Hereford. Recently refurbished it offers a modern and stylish bar that has the benefit of outdoor seating. It is also at the heart of Hereford's town centre leisure circuit and resides on the busy Bridge Street being close to a number of other well known leisure outlets including pubs, bars and restaurants. The premises offers 50 seats internally with a further 20 available outside. It has operated since 2022, but due to other business commitments of the owners, they have decided to sell their interest to new operators that could really drive the business forward.

The city of Hereford enjoys a population in excess of 60,000 and includes all amenities that would be expected from a city of this size including the university. It is the county town that acts as a commercial and economic centre for a much wider area and is particularly famed for a number of tourist attractions, especially that of the Cathedral (close to the subject premises) which is the home of the Chained Library and Mappa Mundi which attracts visitors throughout the year. It is also well placed on Bridge Street which is a link between the town centre and the beautiful River Wye and King Georges playing Fields and swimming baths.

The business has been established since 2022 and opened initially as a cocktail bar. Since its inception it has modified the trade to offer food of "light bites" that are provided by its sister business next door. There is no kitchen on these premises but there is potential for the development of a small kitchen if required.

The business achieved sales of £101,858 exclusive of VAT for the first 8 months of trade. For this financial year that began on 1st June 2023 the business has already achieved sales in the region of £31,027 which on a straight line basis will equate to circa £125,000 exclusive of VAT for the forthcoming trading year.

Please note at present the food offering is provided by the cocktail bar's sister business that operates next door. The owners are willing to enter into an agreement with the new bar operators to provide food on a cost basis.
