Bagla or "Bala" as it is pronounced in Turkish, is a stunning and green area of holiday houses with 2x private beaches that only the residents can use, plus a third also very nice public beach and another beach that can be swum to, that is famous all over Bodrum for the sealife, known as "Aquarium". The area also boasts wild walks, wild beaches, supermarkets and restaurants, and is a quiet area to relax and swim, not a place well known for night life.

The 2/3 bedroom house is a ground floor maisonette with two storeys, with a large garden. The house has been completely renovated with new garden room (which can be used a third bedroom), and the garden has been designed and created by a garden designer.

The bathroom has been completely renovated, many doors and windows in the house replaced, there is new Samsung aircon units in all but 1 room, and all floors have been renovated with natural travertine stone tiles. There has been the addition of new three new bespoke built in storage cupboards around the stairs, and bespoke built in (lockable) wardrobe in the lower hallway. The Garden has been completely remade with new soil, new walls, new steps, new terraces and all planting designed and created.

The house is 4 mins walk from one beach, and 7-8 mins walk from the two local private beaches. The house has ample on street parking.

There is access from the street to a new rear kitchen entrance and from the front door.
The front door area offers another open seating area that has been converted to new bedrooms in many of the surrounding properties offering the chance for the house to become a 3/4 bedroom property.


The area of Bagla is unique for swimming, and well known in the local area as the beaches and the water clarity are one of the best in the region. It is unknown to many tourists but the quality of the water for swimming various greatly between differing areas of Bodrum, depending on the currents and prevailing wind, this results in many beaches being full of seaweed and litter. The Bagla beaches are almost always crystal clear water. The local area is run by a community group and there is a small payment for the upkeep of the area required to be paid by the residents, because the residents themselves manage the local area, Bagla feels like a place that is well loved. There are two small supermarkets within walking distance that sell food for most of your weeks groceries. There is an exceptional fish restaurant well known in the region, a snack bar on one beach (which is very affordable as run by the community), and an excellent and affordable Turkish restaurant for drinks, snacks and a full menu day and night, situated on the second private beach. They also offer a delivery service.

Both the beaches have the benefit of free sun loungers.

Bagla is 20-30 mins from different areas of Bodrum town centre by car. It is also 30-40 mins drive from Gumusluk and Tukbuker touristic towns.
