This light and airy Waites designed house has provided us with spacious, flexible living in a quiet, leafy, safe neighbourhood. It’s only a short stroll to the river where we have enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, cycling and long walks. Just over the footbridge at Teddington Lock, there are numerous independent shops, cafes and pubs where we’ve spent many a Sunday afternoon. One of our favourite family day out is cycling through Richmond Park via Ham Common. There are several outstanding Secondary Schools in the local area, making Ham a very desirable location for families. Bus stops just around the corner from the house give good transport links to either Richmond or Kingston Station for tube and trains into Central London. These town centres also provide all the shops and restaurants you could want.

There’s ample parking on the street in front of the house and a garage at the end of the terrace, handy for storing boats and bikes. The dormer loft conversion is a large, bright space with a must-have utility/WC and under eaves storage. To the front is a green communal garden, setting the house back from the road. To the rear is a low maintenance, private, south-facing garden with an electric awning over the patio table for those sunny days. The three good sized double bedrooms, two bathrooms plus two extra WCs, and the open plan living areas have made this the perfect home for us.
