Description

A stunning Victorian mansion recently divided into five luxurious apartments all enjoying breath-taking panoramic sea views

Description

Downcliffe House is one of Filey's most attractive historical buildings and of significant architectural interest. Built in circa 1840 as a family residence, overlooking Filey's award winning beach, the property was later converted into an award winning hotel, the owners of which are now in the process of redeveloping and extending the building to create five individual apartments.

The development involves the construction of a new wing to the rear which provides lift access to the upper floors and soon to be landscaped gardens which all five apartments will have the use of. There will also be a car park to the side of the building providing at least one space per apartment and an EV connection if required.

The penthouse apartment spans the entire top floor (third), briefly comprising two bedrooms, both served by a separate shower room, a large living area opening into a stunning contemporary kitchen/dining area, the whole area being bathed in copious amounts of natural light via a range of Velux windows which open to create Juliette balconies. The standard of finish is well above average and attention to detail clear to see. This is undoubtedly one of the finest sea side apartments to be seen on the market in recent years and one that will certainly leave a mark once viewed.

Estimated Completion - phased from October 2023
