The Village is such a beautiful and peaceful part of Finchampstead. We go for walks around the fields and lakes every day and the Goswell & Birds village shop at The Greyhound is great for a coffee and pastry on the way. We are spoilt for choice with 5 pubs within a 20 minute walk which is lovely on a summers evening and weekends, or you can relax watching a cricket game in the fields opposite!

The home is really cosy, whilst the tall ceilings and large windows flood the rooms with light. It also benefits from two reception rooms, one of which we’ve previously used as a snug but recently changed to a study. The south facing garden is a real sun trap and is great for hosting gatherings, which the driveway to the front helps with as we’ve previously had up to 6 cars parked there!

You feel like you live in the countryside at The Village, but are still so well connected, with the M4 and M3 being a short drive away and Wokingham still within 10 minutes. It really is the best of both worlds!

Surely locations don't come much more perfect than this? We certainly think so, not only is it a great looking house inside and out but the setting is fantastic.
Our sellers have perfectly summed up why this has been such a great home, we know they will be sad to leave and you can see why!

This is such a perfect spot for anyone moving with a family or who is looking for that village setting. It always has been a popular location with great schools, parks and woodland right on your doorstep. As you can see this home has some great space on offer both upstairs and downstairs. The house offers you two separate reception spaces downstairs, one of these is currently set up as an office but could make an ideal snug, dining room or playroom. The other is the cosy lounge which has the benefit of the French doors opening up onto the south facing rear garden. Following on from here you have the kitchen dining space with access onto the side of the home. There is plenty of space for dining table and it also comes complete with integrated appliances and separate cloakroom.

This house is beautifully finished throughout and that continues upstairs where you will find three good size bedrooms and family bathroom. One of our favourite things about the home is the high ceiling on the landing with the window letting in huge amounts of natural light onto the landing. The second bedroom is a great size double room with the third bedroom currently set up as a dressing room. Not only is the master bedroom a great size, but it also has the benefit of two separate wardrobes and a superbly fitted en suit shower room. .
The garden as we've mentioned is south facing but better still, is private and very low maintenance as you can see. Whilst to the front you have ample driveway parking for multiple vehicles. If you are looking for a home that is ready to move straight into then we can't wait to take you on a tour of this stunning home.

Area Comment...
The home sits just opposite Finchampstead Park with its cricket green, tennis courts and children's playpark. You've also got Finchampstead hall and sport club and some great walks right on your doorstep. If you're looking to get something to eat and drink then you are spoilt for choice with many popular pubs not far away, one being the Greyhound which is a 5 minute walk, but a 5 minute drive in the opposite direction you have the Tally Ho. The home falls within many of the areas popular local school catchments such as Bohunt Secondary School but is only a few minutes walk away from Finchampstead C of E Primary School. There is a parade of shops at the twin roundabouts in Finchampstead which is less than a 5 minute drive, but Wokingham Town Centre and Train Station is also only a 12 minute drive away, having recently been redeveloped it really is a great place to go with it's new leisure centre, cinema and many popular retailers.
