OUTSIDE
The cottage is accessed via the private estate road, leading to a private track to just two other properties and neighbouring farmland. A gravelled driveway sweeps around to the left towards the cottage, dividing the main lawned areas and the cottage garden surrounding the house, arriving at parking for several cars.
The gardens at Cliff Cottage are a true delight and have been landscaped to offer a great deal of privacy from neighbouring properties. A pretty cottage garden surrounds the house, offering a riot of scent and colour for all year-round interest with a gate leading out from the southwest boundary to the cliff path taking you to the beach.

There is also an outbuilding housing a shower room and WC, which is very handy, for sandy toes and muddy paws.

LOCATION
The Dorset coast is a world heritage site and West Bay is a popular and sought-after fishing village with a pretty harbour, a variety of interesting shops, pubs and restaurants as well as being the coastal location for the popular television series 'Broadchurch'. Burton Bradstock, home of the popular Hive Beach Café and Seaside Boarding House, the cliff top creation of the former Groucho Club owner, is just a short drive from the property.
West Bay is just under 2 miles south of the handsome Georgian market town of Bridport with its excellent variety of shops, schools and restaurants and supermarkets including Waitrose, Morrisons and Co-op and a particularly popular twice weekly street market.
The county town of Dorchester is 16 miles to the east and has a further range of facilities including a main line railway station to London Waterloo.
