The house is located in the small town of Voukolies, in a quiet road that ends at the property, at the frinege of the settlement. It is an old stone house that is all arranged in a single ground level and has recently been restored to provide modern amenities. The plot is fenced and divided into two parts, at the front and rear of the house, where we come upon a beautiful garden and a spacious terrace, respectively.

The residence follows the layout of traditional Cretan architecture, according to which all the rooms are arranged in a row, with each one also being directly connected to the courtyard or garden. The house was redisigned by the current owners for their own use, hence they chose few large rooms with ample light and space, rather than plenty smaller bedrooms. .

Voukolies experiences a significant tourist activity, and the village square is usually bustling with people throughout the year. Within walking distance, you can find a pharmacy, a bakery, a supermarket, traditional taverns, and several other shops and services. In about a 10-minute drive away, there is an interchange of the national road, from which you can reach the city of Chania and the airport in approximately 30 and 40 minutes, respectively. Around 8 km away, is the beach of Tavronitis, which features pebbles and crystal-clear waters. The house boasts exceptionally spacious areas and represents a functional and economical choice for holiday use.
