Binibeca is located on the South East coast, approximately 15 minutes from the airport. The local name is Binibequer, which you may see on the road signs. Binibeca is an old traditional Menorcan fishing village and you will often see places in this area using 'Bini', which reflects the Moorish occupation (Bini meaning 'belonging to the son of...' from Ben Arabic for Son)
