The property is located just a few minutes´ drive from the village of Velez Rubio with good tarmac access. Both Velez Rubio & neighbouring Velez Blanco offer many amenities, such as schools, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, bakeries, butchers, pharmacy, medical centre etc. The nearest coastal resort is Aguilas, approximately a 55 minute´ drive away. Local markets are held in Velez Blanco on a Wednesday and Velez Rubio on a Saturday.
