Very spacious and habitable stone house with a vegetable garden and a well, in the charming region of Castanheira de Pêra, in central Portugal, close to the famous Praia das Rocas.

Located in a small peaceful village, this property consists of a traditional shale stone house, with two floors, with habitable conditions, and a vegetable garden with a well. On the ground floor there was once a grocery store, with an adjoining room that served as a village café, while on the top floor there was housing, with 4 bedrooms, living room, two rooms, kitchen and bathroom. Access to the upper floor is via a gate and a flight of stairs leading to a lovely terrace, shaded by trellised vines.

In the farthest corner of the terrace, there is a small storage room for utensils, tools and garden machines. The entrance to the upper floor of the house is on the terrace, and the entrance door leads to a hallway with a mosaic floor. On the right side of the hallway are the kitchen and bathroom. At the end of the hall, on the left, there is a large bedroom and a spacious living room. Both have mosaic floors and are in need of decoration and some works. A few steps in the living room lead to the oldest part of the building. This has wooden plank floors, which may need repairs, two living rooms and three more bedrooms. The house has an implantation area of 93 m2 and a total area of 112 m2. The garden has a total area of 280 m2 and a well with plenty of water throughout the year.

The property is located just 2.7 km from the village of Castanheira de Pêra, where you can enjoy all the local services: shops, banks, restaurants, cafes. The famous river beach of Rocas, preferred by families and children due to its artificial waves and many summer activities, is also conveniently located just 1.4 kilometers away. Indeed, the region is well known for many of its beautiful (and safe) river beaches, but the closest to this property are however Praia das Rocas and Poço da Corga beach.
