Description

A semi detached home in a cul de sac, with a lovely garden that backs onto woodlands.

Overview

This semi detached home is in a cul de sac backing onto the woodlands of the Kingsweston estate.

The house has a double storey extension which makes a big difference to the accommodation on both levels.

On the ground floor there is an open plan L shaped kitchen/dining/family room which is certainly the hub of this home.
The kitchen spans the width of the house and has plenty of cupboard and worktop space.
Being open to the dining room which forms part of the extension, its a really socialable space that's ideal for family living. Patio doors from the dining room open to the garden.

The lounge has a bay window and is at the front of the house.

Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are double rooms, plus a shower room.
The original main bedroom at the front of the house has a bay window and fitted wardrobes, so has plenty of storage.
The back bedroom gets the benefit of the extension so is a great size, and also has lots of fitted storage. The third bedroom is single room and is perfect for a child but would also work as a home office if needed.

The bathroom has been adapted so that it has a large walk in shower in place of the bath.

In 2022 the house had new windows fitted throughout.

Outside

You access the rear garden from the dining area and these doors open onto a patio.
The patio has plenty of room for outside furniture and a path runs down the side to the bottom of the garden. The main part of the. garden is lawned.
There are 2 storage sheds at the bottom of the garden, as well as a greenhouse.
As you back onto woodland, it has a very green & leafy feel to it, whilst also having a feeling of privacy as there is no one overlooking you from the rear.

Location

Nigel Park is a cul de sac tucked away off Kingsweston Ave, on the fringes of the Kingsweston estate.
Shirehampton High Street with its shops and amenities are easily accessible, as are the shops on Ridingleaze.
A footpath just beyond the rear boundary gives access to the Kingsweston Estate. The 18th century house with its woodland walks is a great place to explore.
There is a train station locally in Shirehampton and this provides direct access to Temple Meads via Clifton Down.
The bus service that runs from the Park & Ride on the Portway also gives access to the city centre, whilst the motorway network is less than a 5 minute drive.

We think...

This makes a brilliant family home - the garden is a great size for families and kids to enjoy, and backing on to the woods is lovely.
