Welcome to the beautiful Casa Stampa, set in the heart of Gravedona ed Uniti, within 15 min driving from the vibrant center of Menaggio.

Casa Stampa enjoys splendid views over the lake and the village.

The property belonged to the noble Stampa family, one of the oldest and most famous of Lombardy.

The Stampa were present in the highest magistracies of the Duchy of Milan, related to the most important families of northern Italy (Sforza, Visconti and Gonzaga), and owned valuable properties throughout the territory, like Castello Sforzesco.

Casa Stampa is a distinguished historical period house with elegantly proportioned living accommodations spread over 2 main levels (+ basement).

The house retains its late 19th century qualities including many period fireplaces, window shutters and cornicing. A stony well set on the corner of the portico is one of the main features of the house.

The layout of the house balances living spaces well with the night floor, in addition to the exceptional entrance hall thanks to the open portico overlooking the beauty of the lake and the gardens. A cozy dining room along with separate kitchen and the outstanding original fireplace complete the ground floor. Above the authentic working fireplace in the main hall of the building, we can see the coat of arms of the noble Stampa family.

There are 3 bedrooms in total on the first floor, two of which are supremely comfortable, and with lake views. The emotion of being surrounded by so many original details is unique, as they are all so much preserved.

On this level we also have the only bathroom of the property, with a bathtub and lake view windows.
