The accommodation complex was born partly from the recovery of an old ruin and partly from new construction, which as a whole have made possible the realization of this concept of sustainable hospitality. A niche and charming receptive asset, able to offer relaxation and well-being. The entire property develops a covered area of about 500 square meters and about 5000 square meters outside, giving life to a rectangular building, with courtyard areas and connecting avenues. The construction of this accommodation asset wanted to exploit all the potential of the principles of eco-sustainability, allocating the new structure both to accommodation activities, thanks to the suites and rooms intended for hospitality, and to catering activities, thanks to the Il Datterino restaurant. The entire company in question, is almost completely independent from the energy point of view, as a 15 Kw photovoltaic system is installed, with 10 Kw accumulators. As specified above, the current accommodation consists of an ancient part and a modern part. The old part, which includes the reception, a private restaurant, 3 Lentischio suites and the Palmento suite is the result of a careful restoration of an old ruin of the Bourbon era. The modern part, instead, welcomes 6 rooms with private patio and views of the panoramic pool, for a total of 30 beds available. Both the suites and the rooms, finely furnished with antique and design furniture, offer every kind of comfort and attention to detail, fabrics and fine linens, private outdoor space. Customizable air conditioning for each room, 40-inch TV, bathrobes and beach towels, phone and courtesy kit. Access to the rooms and suites is free at any time of day or night, as from the parking lot you can get to the rooms with independent entrance without having to go through the reception. Scilla Maris offers a wide choice of luxury rooms and suites, equipped with all modern comforts and furnished with a refined style. The restaurant consists of 2 indoor rooms for a total of about 60 and two communicating terraces for about an additional 90 seats, as well as the large winter garden that can accommodate an additional 50 people.

The property appears to be located between Noto and Pachino, Italian municipalities of the free municipal consortium of Syracuse in Sicily. The municipality of Noto, place of location of the beautiful resort in question, is the first municipality in the region for territorial extension. Episcopal seat, defined as the capital of the Baroque, in 2002 its historic center was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, together with the other late Baroque cities of the Val di Noto. Noto is 31 km from Syracuse and about 50km from Ragusa and is located in the south-west of the province at the foot of the Iblei mountains. Its coast, between Avola and Pachino, gives its name to the homonymous gulf, surrounded by wonderful beaches, in this part of Baroque Sicily, rich in history and undisputed charm, recognized as the heart of the Mediterranean. It was totally rebuilt after the earthquake of 1693 and today the city of Noto is the emblem of the wealth and splendor of the Baroque era in Sicily. This town is about 90 kilometers from both Catania Fontanarossa and Comiso airport. The same municipality is served by a railway station for passengers, located on the Caltanissetta - Syracuse line. In the Noto-Pachino road we find two small jewels: the Roman villa of Tellaro rich in precious mosaics depicting mythological and hunting scenes and the Vendicari nature reserve, a magnificent natural oasis where you can observe the migratory fauna together with typical and rare Mediterranean vegetation. The Vendicari nature reserve is the place overlooked by the Scilla Maris Charming Suites, a beautiful and enchanting reserve of 1512 hectares, which offers some of the most beautiful beaches of the Ionian Coast: a pristine and crystalline sea awarded with the 4 blue sails of Legambiente. The Vendicari Oasis offers breathtaking landscapes, dense vegetation, crystal clear sea, long and golden sandy beaches, and rocky stretches that fall sheer to a deep sea. Inside the Vendicari Oasis reserve you can admire several archaeological and architectural settlements of the Greek, Byzantine and medieval times such as the Swabian Tower of Vendicari located on the shore of the bay of the Vendicari Oasis used as a lookout point from possible enemy attacks, and admire the beauty of the beach that is located within this reserve, home to an uncontaminated ecosystem and offering multiple possibilities for sports activities. The central location of this resort offers the possibility to reach the most beautiful destinations of Eastern Sicily in a short time: Taormina, Giardini Naxos, the villages on the slopes of Etna, Ortigia, Calamosche, Avola, Marzamemi, Ispica, Scicli and Puntasecca.
