"Highgate House", Highgate Gardens, St. Michael is not only one of the most beautiful houses in Barbados but it also one of the most historically significant. While the exact date that this gem of a property was built is unknown, local historians believe it was around 1767 and was an integral part of the signal station system on the Island.
