The flat is located on the first floor of a beautiful historic building with original features dating back to the 18th century. A large doorway gives access to a uniquely styled staircase with stone elements that give a distinctive touch to the flights of stairs that lead to the upper floors. The property has two entrances despite being a single flat, allowing the advantage of valuing two separate units as it is in its current state. The flat is in good condition but needs some renovation work. The main characteristic, besides the sea view, is the brightness due to the double exposure, as the different openings allow it to be sunny and pleasantly ventilated even during the summer period.

Aristocratic families of Spanish origin also lived on this street (of which only a few palaces remain). This street was also the starting point of the processions in which the main workshops of Syracuse participated: carpenters, carvers, ceramists, glassworkers, etc... The flat is in a quiet, central location with the ability to reach all the places of major historical, cultural and gastronomic interest in the historic centre within minutes. Noteworthy in the immediate vicinity are the church of S. Filippo Neri from 1652, the 15th-century palazzo Interlandi, palazzo Bongiovanni on the corner of via Mirabella with its sculpted corbels, and the 17th-century church of the Carmine, built on a pre-existing 14th-century church. At a distance of 300 metres, public parking is possible at the Talete car park, located opposite the ancient market of Ortigia, a tourist destination for its street-food. In the area there are also equipped solariums for the summer season where one can spend entire days at the sea. Walking along via Resalibera, the axis of the ancient Islamic quarter, one arrives in Piazza Archimede, a shopping area with several commercial activities. The railway station is just 1.5 km away, as are the connections to the motorway for Catania airport.
