St John`s, Antigua and Barbuda

Located on a hilltop in the centre of the island with views to all points of the compass, this colonial style house stands on approximately 0.75 of an acre.

The Great House is very much in the style of 19th Century Antigua and whilst it has only a few rooms, is full of character and lends itself to alteration of the accommodation to add an additional bedroom and separate guest accommodation on the lower level.

The main level comprises a large kitchen leading to the living room and generous balcony. Floor and ceilings are wood. There is a pantry off the kitchen and porch leading to the garden. The master bedroom boast a walk in closet and large e-suite.

Approached through an electric gate over a long drive, the partly fenced property is afforded a large measure of privacy by its location and the surrounding mature trees and plants.

The city of St. John's, with its, shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants is about 15 minutes drive and the international airport a little less. One of the prime tourist areas of English Harbour and Nelson's Dockyard is about 15 minutes drive to the south and many of Antigua's 365 beaches, including Long Bay and Half Moon Bay, are within easy reach.

There is sufficient land to add further guest cottage. A large generator supplies power on the occasional outages.
