This location is close to Abetone for winter skiing and the ancient walled town of Lucca famed for its history and excellent shopping on Via Filungo. The famous Leaning Tower of Pisa is only an hour drive away.

One of the villagers has founded a bar in the village which has charity status and can be hired for parties.
