Searches for Chadlington soar following Clarkson’s Farm Series 2

• New analysis reveals that searches for a home for sale in the village of Chadlington in the Cotswolds have increased by 373% following the launch of Series 2 of Clarkson’s Farm
• A similar spike in searches for the village where the program is set was recorded after its launch in 2021
• The average asking price for a home in the postcode area of Chadlington is currently £518,702
• Since the launch of Season One of Clarkson’s Farm, average asking prices in the postcode area of Chadlington have increased by 7%

New data from the UK’s biggest property website Rightmove reveals that searches for homes for sale in Chadlington have soared by 373% compared to the same period last year, following the release of Clarkson’s Farm Series Two.

The nearly five-times increase in searches for the village where the series is set follows a similar spike in 2021 after the release of Clarkson’s Farm Series One, when sale searches for Chadlington spiked 511%.

The average asking price for a home in the postcode area of Chadlington is currently £518,702.

Between June 2021, when the first season of Clarkson’s Farm launched, and March 2023, the average asking price for a home in the postcode area of Chadlington has increased by 7%.

Rightmove’s property expert Tim Bannister said: ”It’s always fascinating to see in real-time on Rightmove how the latest TV shows or cultural moments can inspire home-hunters’ searches. Many of us will have watched Clarkson’s Farm and imagined what our life could be like if we relocated to the countryside or opted for a lifestyle change. The countryside still has a real pull with home-hunters, as ‘acre’ ‘rural’ and ‘land’ are still some of the most popular keyword phrases that people use when searching for their next home.”
