In 1876 Alexander McCreery established an auctioneering business in Kilkenny and five generations later the McCreery tradition in property continues. Peter McCreery FRICS, FIAVI, FSCSI, great grandson of the founder and Managing Director of Sherry FitzGerald McCreery, has over 30 years experience in the property business. In 2000, Peter joined Sherry FitzGerald and thus Sherry FitzGerald McCreery was established.
Sherry FitzGerald McCreery’s offices are located in a Georgian listed building at 40 Parliament Street Kilkenny – since 1924 this has been the company’s office.
The office is managed by Peter McCreery and includes a full time staff of three. Peter McCreery is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a Fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland(SCSI) and Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute (FIAVI) and a Member of the International Real Estate Federation (MIREF).
