Anyone who is keen to spend time in a property in Portugal may want to consider visiting the Algarve.
This is according to Martina Kerk – product manager at Sun and Sea, Algarve Promotion Bureau – who noted that the mild average temperatures in the region make it the ideal place to get out and about.
"The Algarve's warm climate and average temperatures of around 20 degrees allows visitors to experience the depths of the region at their leisure," she commented.
Ms Kerk particularly recommended taking time to visit the inland areas from a property in Portugal, suggesting that walking along part of the Via Algarviana trail is just one of many options.
She also stated that the western Algarve is worth exploring and visitors will discover "local cultures and traditions in the small towns and villages" if they venture here.
According to research published earlier this month by On the Beach, bookings to the Algarve coast are up by 90 per cent over Easter, compared to the same time last year.
