Try the ferry to visit property in FranceAnyone who is planning a break to property in France may want to consider how they are going to travel to the country.

Michelle Ulyatt, communications executive at P&O Ferries, recommended looking at options other than flying – such as travelling to the continent by ferry.

She stated that there are many reasons to choose to cross the Channel in this way rather than opting for a flight.

"The principal benefit really would be the more relaxing experience. You start your holiday once you get on board – it's not like sitting in an airport for a few hours," Ms Ulyatt commented.

This could be particularly important for those visiting property in France with young children – and she stressed that there are plenty of activities available for kids on board, giving parents a chance to enjoy the journey.

Earlier this year, P&O Ferries announced that it would introduce two new ships on the Dover to Calais route this year.

On January 9th, Spirit of Britain arrived at the UK port, with its sister ship – Spirit of France – due to be delivered in September.
