Normandy will stage a series of races in early June for everybody from fun runners to serious racers as a way of commemorating the fallen in the D-day campaign of 1944.

The events, which will be held around Caen, include a marathon to be staged on June 14th, which passes close to key battle sites, as well as a 10k, the Pegasus bridge fun run, a skating race, a children’s run and a race for women dressed in pink in aid of breast cancer research.
